At PAIGELAUREN, we make pieces that feel incredible on skin and hold up wash after wash. Below are our quality standards and simple care instructions—organized by fabric.

Quality

Organics

We choose high-quality, organically and ecologically produced materials. Our Sustainable Edition uses 100% certified organic cotton, grown without pesticides, herbicides, or insecticides. We purchase cotton as yarn, then knit, dye, and sew locally in downtown Los Angeles. Our organic yarns are certified through SKAL (certificate on file).

The Classics: soft, softer, softest

Everything we make is designed to be buttery-soft, breathable, and easy to wear—because comfort for little ones (and the people who dress them) matters.

Laundry Basics

Detergent

  • Use a gentle liquid detergent; measure carefully.

  • Avoid chlorine bleach. If needed, use non-chlorine bleach only.

Sorting & Prep

  • Separate lights and darks.

  • Fasten buttons/snaps/zippers to help garments keep their shape.

  • Turn inside out to preserve prints, textures, and color.

  • Don’t overload the washer to prevent detergent marks.

When in doubt, wash cold and tumble dry low—it’s gentler on fabric and color.

Washing & Drying Instructions (by fabric)

Eco Fleece

  • Machine wash cold, gentle cycle

  • Non-chlorine bleach only when needed

  • Tumble dry low; remove promptly

  • Cool iron if needed (avoid prints)

Eco Hacci

  • Machine wash cold, delicate

  • Non-chlorine bleach only

  • Tumble dry low or lay flat to dry for best drape

2×1 Organic Rib / Slub Rib

  • Machine wash cold, gentle

  • Non-chlorine bleach only

  • Tumble dry low; reshape while damp

Thermal (Waffle)

  • Machine wash cold, gentle

  • Non-chlorine bleach only

  • Tumble dry low; reshape to maintain waffle texture

Stripe Rib Organic Over Dye

  • Wash inside out, cold, with like colors

  • Non-chlorine bleach only

  • Tumble dry low; color may soften uniquely over time

Organic Jersey 

  • Warm or cold wash, with like colors

  • Tumble dry low

  • Warm iron as needed (avoid prints)

Super Fine Jersey

  • Machine wash cold, gentle

  • Non-chlorine bleach only

  • Tumble dry low, gentle; remove promptly

Super Fine Interlock

  • Machine wash cold, gentle

  • Non-chlorine bleach only

  • Tumble dry low, gentle

Super Fine French Terry

  • Machine wash warm, delicate

  • Non-chlorine bleach when needed

  • Tumble dry low

  • Cool iron if needed

Ironing

  • Follow the recommended temperature for each fabric.

  • Avoid ironing directly over buttons, metal snaps, and zippers.

  • Iron inside out to prevent shine and protect color/prints.
